This area of the hospital is the main port of entry for the cardiac patient, and is staffed by physicians specialized in emergency medicine and cardiology who provide resuscitation, monitoring, defibrillation, and other various elements essential to cardiac care, using the latest in medical technology.

CORONARY CARE UNIT

This unit is characterized by the following:
