During the admission process, the patient must indicate to the staff that he/she wishes to use his/her Medical Insurance. A form will be provided which must be completed and returned before discharge, with the signature of the respective physician.

The patient then passes through the nurses' station, where a professional takes vital signs and transfers the patient to the corresponding room or to the operating room. Upon arrival at the room, the patient is attended to by the health personnel on the corresponding floor. The patient is then given the necessary instructions for a pleasant stay, including a review of the uses of the electric bed, the safe, the television, the bathroom, among others.
