It is the assessment of vital signs and the review of general health status while alerting the physician of important findings. We can provide a lot of advice on the best care for diabetic patients, hypertensive patients, older adults, bedridden patients, with different needs and with the objective of having a better quality of life.
The nurses carry medical supplies such as:
- Glucometers.
- Portable sphygmomanometers for home use.
- Walkers.
- Oximeter to measure oxygen saturation.
Pre and postpartum nurse home visit.
It is the obstetric assessment before or after delivery that seeks to orient the future parents about their baby and mother's main needs, seen from an integral point of view, offering a warm treatment.
Obstetric Assessment (FCF - DU - Vaginal Tact PRN).
An obstetric assessment consists of listening to the baby's heart, checking the uterine dynamics and performing a vaginal tact if warranted and thus know if the baby is about to be born. It is performed by an obstetrician.
Application of APP treatment.
It is the canalization of a vein in one of the patient's arms for the application of an intravenous medication under medical prescription and that helps prevent premature delivery producing security and tranquility to the future parents.
Breastfeeding counseling.
It is to guide the mother to use the most recommended technique to breastfeed her child and thus breastfeeding is easier, very practical tips are offered to develop and improve the attachment.
Bathing the Newborn.
It is the cleaning of the baby that is done with soap and water using the correct techniques considering the susceptibility of the newborn, essential care that should be taken at this stage are advised.

Blood pressure (signs).

Weight taking.

Taking arterial blood gases.

Complete, medium and simple healing.
Wound healing with water, special soap and using the correct technique and also covered with special dressings depending on the type of wound. Healing of colostomy and change of bag.

Healing and aspiration of tracheostomy secretions.

Foley catheter placement
It is the placement of a special catheter through the urinary meatus to promote urine emptying, usually left in place for several days and placed under medical indication in patients with urinary diseases.
Foley catheter removal.
Removal of previously placed Foley catheter, using the correct technique, recommendations are offered to avoid obstruction of the urinary tract once the catheter is removed.
Bladder catheterization.
It is the placement of a special catheter for urine drainage, it is removed when no more urine comes out, it is a simple procedure that is performed under medical indication, the patient reports great relief when evacuating the urine stored in the bladder.
Placement of nasojejunal tube.
It is the placement of a special feeding tube that is placed through the nose and up to the first portion of the intestine, it is left between 4 and 6 weeks, this can provide the patient with nutritional support and hydration.
Placement of nasogastric tube.
It is the placement of a special feeding tube that is placed from the nose to the stomach and seeks to provide nutritional support to patients who generally cannot feed themselves or with diseases that prevent them from doing so.
Tube feeding assistance.
This involves giving special tube feedings, using the correct technique. It can be homemade shakes or formulas recommended by a physician or nutritionist, offering the nutritional value required by the patient according to his/her needs.
Stitch removal.
It is the removal of stitches using the correct technique while assessing the wound healing process.
Bed bath.
It refers to washing the body in general, starting from the head to the feet, cleaning the body of impurities including the back, cleaning very well the area where the diaper is placed, moisturizing the skin and changing the dirty sheets, the patient at the end of the bath feels very relieved, comfortable and serene.
Sputum collection.
It is the collection of a bronchial sample and is usually taken by aspirating the patient, this is done to analyze if there are microorganisms and which antibiotics eliminate them.
