More than 300 firms of the health field will meet from June 14th to the 16th in the summit “Medical Travel & Global Healthcare Business” held in Tampa, Florida.

This Medical Tourism summit gathers organizations from several Latin American countries and intends to inform professionals and the general public about the hospitals and procedures performed at the medical centers, and the Clinica Biblica Hospital will be part of this important international event.

The Council for the International Promotion of Medicine of Costa Rica (PROMED) is the main organizer of the activity, the purpose of which is to be able to show the potential that exists outside the United States, without leaving aside the strengths that the American market offers.

PROCOMER and Comex are part of the organizations that support participation in this international Summit, and Ambassador Román Macaya has been part of this during two days.

Some of the participating firms come from the Dominican Republic, Canada, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Chile, Belize, Guatemala, Uruguay, and Argentina. This activity has been held in Costa Rica and this is the second time it is held in Florida.
